Branding, packaging and website design for föda, a Scandinavian food experience.


Föda, is a brand I created for my final major project, allowing me to craft a unique brand with multiple touchpoints. Föda brings authentic and tasty Scandinavian food to the UK market, with a target demographic of young professionals who want to explore new flavours.

Föda has different ways for you to explore, either roam restaurant chains or try at home with scrumptious subscription boxes.I expanded on these different sectors, creating collateral including menus, business cards, table top design, packaging, a social media presence, and a website.

The brand offers a range of sweet and savoury subscription boxes, which means you get to explore from the comfort of your own home. An example which I created is the Lordasgodis box. A tradition in Sweden, Lordasgodis means Saturdays Candies. Delivered weekly, you get to experience Swedish sweets and candy. 52 percent of consumers are likely to repeat purchase from an online retailer that delivers premium packaging, therefore it was vital for the packaging that I created a premium, exciting, and effective unboxing experience.

The design takes inspiration from Scandinavian food, architecture, and design. A unique logo that is entirely modern, sharp, and enforces a cohesive graphic identity throughout the brand. Bold vibrant colours, combined with a salmon pink creates a modern colour scheme which appeals to young professionals.
